I do like how the objects are rendered - using a single color scheme for each coaster was a good idea to make them more cohesive and interesting. One comment I have though is that they could be larger at some point. If there's a way to view the coasters up close, I'm not finding it. Since the coasters are so small in relation to the infographics and text they seem to be too subordinate hierarchically.

Some of the typography could use work. I don't like the intro line with the "read more" next to the navigation on the left. I think it's perfectly clear what the user can expect to see when they click on a link. You don't need it for this type of site, and it's distracting so I'd just get rid of it. The text paragraph itself is a bit too long, plus the reversed out type on the black background isn't working for the larger amount of reading. You could reverse the colors, or you could maybe increase the leading and the measure at the very least. Maybe try out a sans serif; they're sometimes easier to read on screen.

The information is displayed nicely though. I like how the coaster shapes are repeated on the timeline to help clarify which coaster belongs where on the infographic. The only one that's bothering me is the map - the coasters are too small, and other than the color and shape, which I can't correspond to each respective coaster without paging back, I wouldn't be able to tell which is which. Maybe have then get larger on roll over.

I'm not too sure about the use of both the x and the text "close infographic", I feel it should probably one or the other, and since it's not feasible to put it in an upper corner it should probably be just the text. Arrange it in a square button if you feel it needs clarifying as a clickable object.

Overall it's pretty user friendly and easy to navigate. A couple of points though: What does "See full coasters" mean under "BY LOCATION"? Also maybe you could have some specific intro text or an image when you first load the page instead of defaulting to the "Beer Coasters" option.
